Alan Hyslop is Managing Director of Dubai International Capital Private Equity, which focuses on leading mid to large cap secondary buyouts in Europe and the USA in addition to funds and co-investments globally.

Alan joined Dubai International Capital in January 2005 and took responsibility for its global private equity fund and co-investment programme.

He has worked in private equity since 1994 when he joined 3i plc in Glasgow, Scotland. He moved to Singapore in 1998 with 3i as a Director and throughout this time, he made a wide range of buyout and growth investments.

In 2001 Alan joined PPM Ventures, the buyout focused private equity arm of the UK’s Prudential plc. He was a Director in Hong Kong and then Singapore and led the execution and origination of mid to large size buyouts across the region.
Alan has a B.Sc. from University of Strathclyde, Scotland and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
