Dubai International Capital Global Equities manages Dubai International Capital’s public equity investments.

In its capacity, the Dubai International Capital Global Equities team comprises of individuals that source, evaluate, execute and manage investment opportunities for the Global Strategic Equities Fund LP (‘GSEF’) as well as directly on behalf of Dubai International Capital.

GSEF is a US$2 billion fund which is regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority and managed by a licensed manager, NewDawn Global Strategic Equities Asset Management Limited.

Within the next two years, Dubai International Capital Global Equities plans to have assets under management up to of US$10 billion.

The division’s major transactions so far include investments in DaimlerChrysler AG, the acquisition of a substantial stake in HSBC Holdings plc, and more recently the acquisitions of stakes in EADS NV, the parent company of Airbus, as well as ICICI Bank Limited, the leading Indian financial services firm.
