As Managing Director at Dubai International Capital’s European Private Equity operations, based in London, Brian is responsible for investment and portfolio company management in Europe.

Brian joined DIC in May 2007 and since has worked extensively on new equity investments, growth financings, debt capital raisings and restructurings, portfolio company cost management programmes and management team composition and incentive negotiations. He has more than 10 years of experience in the European and US private equity industry and was previously a Director at RBS Leveraged Finance, where he completed over 30 financial sponsor driven financings over four years across Europe in addition to four years based in New York.

He is a member of the board of Travelodge, the UK’s fastest growing hotel company; a member of the board of Alliance Medical, the leading provider of outsourced diagnostic imaging services in Western Europe; and a member of the board of Almatis, the global leading producer of specialty alumina primarily used in the steel manufacturing process.

Brian holds a first class degree in Economics and Industry from the University of Leeds.
