Rajib Das is a Managing Director for the Emerging Markets division at Dubai International Capital (‘DIC’). He is responsible for deal origination, selection and investment activities at DIC Emerging Markets and head’s the firm’s activities in the Indian sub-continent and South-East Asia regions.

Previously, Rajib served as the Head of Private Equity for BroadStreet Group LLC in New York and was a member of the firm’s Executive and Investment Committees. While at BroadStreet Rajib focused on growth capital investments and special situations, primarily in North America and Asia.Prior to BroadStreet, Rajib was a founding member of the Global Strategic Solutions Group within UBS Investment Bank. He led cross-border strategic investments, asset restructurings and hybrid-capital transactions in both principal and advisory capacities across North and South America, Europe and Asia.

Rajib joined UBS from Merrill Lynch where he served as a Vice President within the firm’s Global Markets and Investment Banking Division. While there, he launched the firm’s closed-end investment fund business and advised both corporate clients and financial institutions on capital raising and strategic advisory transactions.

Rajib holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, Cum Laude, in Economics from Cornell University. Rajib holds Series 7 and Series 63 licenses from the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) in the United States.
