Dubai International Capital Files Petition in Dutch Courts to Protect Almatis Stakeholders
Dubai International Capital LLC (‘DIC’), the international investment arm of Dubai Holding, announces that it has filed a petition in the Enterprise Chamber of the Amsterdam Court of Appeal to prevent the implementation of the Plan Support Agreement (“PSA” or “the proposal”) for Almatis (the “Company”) proposed by the Oaktree-led consortium.

Sameer Al Ansari Awarded Honorary Doctorate by Loughborough University for Outstanding Achievement
Sameer Al Ansari, Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Dubai International Capital has been awarded an honorary doctorate from Loughborough University in the UK. The Degree of Doctor of the University was conferred by the Chancellor of Loughborough University at the graduation ceremony held on July 20, 2009.

Dubai International Capital, LLC ("DIC"), the international investment arm of Dubai Holding, and Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. ("Oaktree") announce a partnership to propose a plan for the support and restructuring of the balance sheet of the DIC portfolio company Almatis which is the global leader in specialty alumina products.
