Phil Donnelly leads DIC’s HR team as Managing Director of Human Resources.

Prior to Dubai International Capital, Phil was European HR Director with Watson Wyatt a leading global management consulting firm. Previously Phil was Global Head of HR and Strategy for the $3bn revenue, 6,000 person, Corporate Finance Practice at Ernst & Young. In addition to his responsibilities as Head of HR, Phil led Ernst & Young’s Private Equity revenue growth strategy globally.

In addition to his roles in professional services, Phil spent the prior 10 years within the Insurance and Asset Management industry with a number of global financial services companies; Axa, Old Mutual, AMP and HBOS and was heavily involved in M&A transactions both buy and sell side with a specific focus on post merger integration and managing carve-outs and separations.

Phil has a degree in Economics and has a Master’s degree in International Strategic Human Resource Management. He studied Corporate Finance at LBS and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
