At Dubai International Capital, Hadi is responsible for sourcing, screening, undertaking due diligence, negotiating and executing transactions. Hadi is also involved in building the overall strategy of Dubai International Capital, relationship building and networking on behalf of the Chairman’s Office.
Hadi has been with Dubai International Capital since its inception in October 2004. He was previously an Associate at The Executive Office of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. At The Executive Office, Hadi was an integral part of the strategy and development team which acted as a think tank for Dubai. Hadi was responsible for conceptualising and executing a series of strategic initiatives to develop Dubai into a leading global city.
Hadi was seconded as an Associate to The Carlyle Group based in Washington DC in 2006. While at Carlyle, Hadi worked with the growth buyout team of Carlyle Venture Partners III, Carlyle’s largest US venture capital and growth buyout fund to date.
Hadi holds a BA, Magna Cum Laude Honours in Economics with a minor in Entrepreneurial Leadership from Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts. Whilst at Tufts, Hadi was nominated for the prestigious Marion Ricker Houston prize scholarship in Economics.
